You can call me Debbie, short for Deborah. This is a photograph of me taken with a film camera.
A little bit about me:
I am a maker who loves creating experiences by tinkering with hardware and software. I have experience with 3D printers, Raspberry Pi, Arduinos, mobile and web development, and XR development.
I studied design and engineering at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). More specifically, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). I received my bachelor's in May 2020 and my master's in December 2022.
Formerly, I was an intern at the BMW Group Tech Office, Mountain View where I worked on R&D software and design projects.
Currently, I contribute to XR projects at Stanford Medicine and a faculty member at USC.
Music makes me happy. It never fails to uplift my mood and bring a smile to my face.
Adventure. I love to adventure with the things I create and in nature.
I love working with and supporting people. Find me at Best Buddies outside of work.
Formerly, was a Medical Assistant at the Hoag Hospital.
Practicing art and creating DIY projects are hobbies I enjoy. I've been practicing realism with oil paint and watercolor for over 10 years. I also enjoy creating "watercolor palettes" and body lotions from coffee and beer.
Nikon or Canon fan? I am both but I've been photographing sports, nature, and concerts with Nikon for ages. Team Nikon.
